FAQ

Additional information & FAQs

After Hours service

The GPs work in conjunction with the National Home Doctor service to provide you with after hours care. Appointments can be made by phoning 13 74 25 (13 SICK) or online at https://homedoctor.com.au.

These appointments are provided from 6pm Monday-Friday, from 12pm on Saturday and all day on Sundays and public holidays. This service is bulk billed.

specialist referrals

Most specialist referrals require an appointment with your doctor. This allows a meaningful communication between your doctor and specialist where up to date information about your health issues can be shared. From time to time referrals will be provided without an appointment at your doctor’s discretion. These are charged at $15.

Appointments

The GPs have 15 and 30 minute appointments available depending on your needs. Please book a longer appointment if you are a new patient, require a mental health care plan or GP management plan (EPC referral), for cervical screening or if you have complex care needs or multiple issues to discuss.

Many of our GPs are welcoming new patients.

Results

You may contact our practice nurse between 9:15am-3:30pm Monday to Friday to access information about your test results. Your doctor may request to see you if there are any concerns. Our practice policy is that nurses are not trained to interpret results and any information you receive is passed on from a doctor.

repeat prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions may be provided, at your doctor's discretion, if you have been seen within the past three months.

Flu vaccinations

We provide government funded flu vaccines to people over 65, children up to 5 years old, or those with chronic illnesses.
Patient-funded flu vaccinations are available for all of our other patients. We run flu clinics at the start of the flu season to ensure all patients can be immunised in an efficient & economical manner.

We provide a workplace influenza vaccination program to many local schools and businesses. Please contact us to enquire about providing this service in your work place.
