The doctors practising at Beaumaris Medical Centre work collaboratively with onsite allied health and offsite specialist colleagues to ensure the best treatment options and outcomes for their diabetic patients. The doctors work together with our in-house dietitian, diabetes educator and podiatrists, as well as our complex care planning nurses to provide comprehensive care. The doctors and nursing team are able to assist with diabetes related wound management, including utilising an ankle-brachial index machine to assess for early peripheral vascular disease. The doctors also work together with our local optometrists, ophthalmologists and endocrinologists where required to ensure comprehensive care.
